Writing and recording music is both a very creative and a very technical pursuit. Throughout my life, an expanding plethora of genres and musical styles from big band to pop filled my consciousness. Music in movies, video games, and other media had a tremendous influence as well. I explored music through playing instruments including clarinet, saxophone, violin, bass, guitar, and more in a variety of groups.

 

    I have had an affinity for technology since a young age. Discovering that computers could be used as tools for creativity led to recording, MIDI sequencing, mixing electronic and acoustic instruments, and sound design. The traditional and modern are layered as I meld seemingly contrary elements to forge earthy and ethereal soundscapes. I have merged my love of music and technology in the recording studio, on stage, and in video production.
